Invo s coconut palms are a crop that requires few agricultural inputs. Most pest and disease control is via predation and other natural control systems. Coconut palms have been farmed sustainably for centuries in Thailand and are indigenous to South and Southeast Asia. Invo s coconuts are wholly utilized and as well as extracting the fresh coconut water for our juices, the coconut meat is processed into oil, cream and various other foods. The hard coconut shell is turned into jewelry and other handicraft. Finally the coconut husk is used as a planting substrate, as liners for plant baskets and as cropping bags. What is the Young Coconut Nursery Program ? We have provided Nam Hom nursery tree free to growers through local government in Thailand for a bilateral agreement. As of May, we have provided 60,000 nursery trees to local growers. Each year we plan to distribute 120,000 trees to plant 1,200 acres. The yield is 72 fruits/tree/year. The first harvest of 8,640,000 nuts will occur in 2017 and will continue to equally increase each year with the continuing program.
